Pros

I enjoyed being part of an organization that helped people at their lowest times.

Cons

Every place has their problems, so don't judge other locations by this review. Also, things change, and hopefully for the better. Tuition reimbursement is at the discretion of management. Though my coursework and degree were inline with my next possible promotion, I was denied tuition reimbursement for what I feel were personal issues, not professional. Yet, another employee received it for classes totally unrelated to her job. Was passed over for a promotion that I had been promised - job pushed onto someone who didn't even want it and she was paid $30,000 more a year than I was supposed to get. Laid off for weak reasons that couldn't fully be articulated to me. They chose to keep an employee paid MORE than me, had less company experience, and who constantly needed my assistance to complete "her" job.

Pros

AMR is flexable with schedueling and you accrew PTO at a decent rate. The pay is also just slightly better than most of the other companies in the area.

Cons

In one word EVERYTHING!!!!! I have never worked for a company like this one where there is actually a corporate climate of incompetence from upper management on down. In the time I have worked for this company I have seen the focus shift away from providing quality patient care and toward ways to make a quick dollar. employee morale is terribly low, everybody is constantly worried about losing their jobs. Office equipment is old and breaks frequently, sometimes its difficult to get pens and paper all because the company wants to save a buck.
