Overall AMR is well respected in this region and is a very busy in comparison with other companies around the area. The pay is far superior than other companies and the benefits are also better.

Cons

Down fall is the number of calls ran in shift, however the compensation in pay makes up for the limited down time.

AMR is truly a good place to work. I have worked for other companies and my experience with AMR has been very satisfying.

Cons

They have there ups and downs like any large company. They do lack communication to the field staff when change needs to occur.

Pros

AMR/EmCare is a very large company that has significant resources and tremendous potential. The company is comprised of very dedicated people (mostly clinical) at the field operation level.

Cons

Many members of the corporate management team have little or no actual health care operations experience. Absence of health care operations experience renders the corporate management team fairly useless other than to count and process. The management team could just as well be running a large bakery. Management also exerts significant growth pressure on its field generals (sales and operations) but has done little to evolve its business model to provide new or improved services.
