Honestly, this organization plays with people’s lives. I was part of the inaugural Trainee Recruiter Program in 2021. We were hired to be recruiters and where we were placed with clients, we were recruiters. Buuuuuuut, we weren’t technically recruiters in title, so we also weren’t paid as such. We were told that 6 months after graduating we would all be promoted. 5 of us went to the top global consulting firm. Only one of us was promoted after a year, only to be demoted so as not to be part of the layoffs. You are hired, but once a contract ends you basically have to go through yet another series of interviews to keep your job or you are let go. AMS ended up hiring far too many trainee recruiters and when the layoffs happened many of us got “laid off” because there weren’t enough other clients to move to. I get that sometimes companies have to do layoffs, but AMS goes beyond that and makes promises they can’t keep. It’s a ridiculous system. Do not recommend.
