As an internal employee, it's harder to ask for a raise, even if you are promoted—no effort to align people's salaries at the same level. They tend to offer much bigger rates to an external candidate which does not make any sense. Now, AMS seems to be the training ground for recruiters in Manila because, after a year or two, people tend to move on to other organizations that are willing to pay for the skills that they have when it comes to recruitment.
