      Pros

      The contract I was on was not bad. The salary was adequate. Management was responsive to questions.

      Cons

      Benefits were expensive compared to the larger companies I have worked for.

      Pros

      Small company involved in the complex world of government contracting. AMS takes care of its employees and has some good opportunities to work within the government space. I enjoyed working for AMS and would recommend them to anyone.

      Cons

      Being that it is a small company the benefits are lacking. If you require more than basic benefits then AMS is probably not for you.

      Pros

      Sean Robinson is the head of this company. It is small, following the contracting model of a larger government contracting company with support from it. I had a good relationship with Sean, found him to be an honest and fair employer, and working for him proved smooth and uncomplicated until the inevitable contract turnover. Sean took the time to get to know his employees as well. I hope his venture continues to succeed and grow.

      Cons

      This is a small company, no frills. For me, not really a problem in contracting. You rarely interface with your employer and take your orders from the client, and are paid. In this case you hope your employer's bureaucracy stays out of the way of you doing your job and supporting your family. AMS did just that. In the rare event that there was a problem of any kind, Sean (at staff) were immediately responsive and the problem was resolved. So, really, no cons from my own experience. If you need the accoutrements of a much larger company, then this won't have it.
