Pros

Good culture and friendly people

Cons

Sees itself as a 'media' company, rather than a 'technology' company, which means decisions sometimes feel like bad ones from the perspective of the technology wing.

Pros

AOL is a great company to grow as a software engineer, you will be able to work with latest technologies and solve interesting problems in a friendly and relaxed environment.

Cons

Office is not the greatest but that is set to improve in the future. Sometimes things can be hectic and priorities can change very quickly because new companies get acquired all the time.
