Pros

Logistics is a complex and difficult business, and I was lucky to learn a lot with APL during my time there.

Cons

Very toxic environment with the union turning normal office politics into nightmares. Despite the role being advertised as hybrid, it is 100% work onsite during your first 8 months. The attendance policy is incredibly unforgiving, likely because it is the only way the company can fire employees under the union agreement. Some people have worked there for upwards of 10-15 years and have no idea how to do basic things like send an email to another team. Due to the toxic environment and union staff egging things on (especially during negotiations), management is indirect and inconsistent.
