Great job if having a life is not important to you.

Pros

Decent salary. Good benefits. Decent PTO.

Cons

Very long hours. No schedule. Only 5 paid holidays per year. You're basically on-call. Old school nepotism rampant. Relatives and friends get hired with no work or education experience. Very impersonal with no one caring about you. You're just a clock puncher and they squeeze everything out of you they can get. # of hours you work is irrelevant along with # of days you work. Sadly one of the best companies in the industry. I don't suggest this company at all. Salaried employees are exempt from labor laws so they can and will bulldoze you into the ground.

Pros

Valued my expertise and knowledge, so I was left alone and did my job. But flip side was managers didn't utilize my skills well - felt isolated as a result .

Cons

Pay (30% lower than my prior jobs) and benefits (vacation pay 'starts to accrue' only AFTER 1 full yr on job - so had to work 1.5 yrs before I could take any paid time off). More concerned about profits than people - especially managers who even made it hard to buy paperclips. Peers were caught up in CYA, so never shared information or offered to help. HR didn't know what they were doing and rarely followed up. IT took too long to solve access and problem issues. Poor morale among hourly workers. Lots of favoritism. Felt like corporate was overseas and not concerned about US ops.
