Pros

Climate controlled environment Affordable insurance Central location

Cons

No one trains you and then you get in trouble for not knowing coworkers slack and management does nothing, leaving me all the work no room for growth no raises, I have been there almost 2 years, with no raise, literally got a pay deduction of a dollar Favoritism No communication They give you PTO but will never approve you to use it unless you are friends with management. They want you to do extra work, work extra hours, with no compensation

Pros

Some of my co-workers were nice to me.

Cons

NOT worth the free lunch, in fact it isn't really free because it is mandatory to attend quarterly company meetings (Town Hall) in the EVENING that you will not be paid for. So that free lunch is taken back when the company expects you to show up on your own personal time. You will not be paid to waste an evening at least 4 times a year that is held at the downtown library.

We're sorry you didn't find the quarterly All Hands meeting beneficial. We do try to hold the meetings to one hour so we are finished by 6:30 p.m. There have been times, such as the recent employee recognition events, where we've run a little over time. Employee recognition and appreciation are a large part of why we hold the All Hands meetings and the feedback from employees has been very positive. We regret you found the lunch options disappointing.

Pros

Free deli-style lunch is provided every day at both locations. Various bonus programs dependent upon profitability. Company has strong customer relationship values. Tremendous growth in short period of time. Continuing education opportunities paid for if for the interest of the company. Paid holidays.

Cons

The company is trying to define the culture they want to be but in doing so have many times stated, "This is how it is. If you don't like it - leave. We don't want you if you won't get on board." Senior Management lacks personal relational skills and does not obtain the respect they no doubt have earned but rather people fear them instead. Often times people just say, "Yes, sir" instead of discussing things because they are not perceived as good listeners. The company has defined its values and they are good ones. However, these values are only related to the customer experience. Concierge service has been communicated as such for the customer, but not for the employee. Don't expect compliments from any member of management without them being back-handed with criticism. Volatile market typically creates many mandatory overtime hours in operations. In operations, don't count on having every paid holiday off.

Thank you for your input regarding feedback. It's important to make sure everyone gets praise as well as feedback about areas where they can improve. We recently started Concierge Customer Service for Internal Customers training, which we hope will help everyone treat each other as well as we do the customers.
