Pros

Surprisingly, we are still in business so I show up to work Monday - Friday.

Cons

Management doesn't manage. My boss and hiss boss are part of the "Good ole boys club" so generally neither of them are in the office and when they are, work is not getting done. Most people who work here have dedicated years (10-25) of their lives to this place and I feel bad for them because they either don't respect themselves enough to go out and get another job or they don't see how bad they have it here. It's pathetic, really. They haven't given out raises in ten years. Most of the managers are making what they made when they got hired and fro what I hear it's significantly lower than that of my manager who isn't deserving of his salary because he's never at the office and when he's "working from home" work isn't getting done. The employee morale here is extremely poor just as majoriety of us are, thanks to the low pay and no raise policy.

Pros

The product offering is good but lacks competitive price points to allow for more closed opportunities.

Cons

I am literally in the middle of a nightmare working for an organization that should be the poster child for MICROMANAGEMENT!!! From the top down the management style is an average of 13 sales meetings per week not including Weekly one on one meetings with district manager and product overview meetings that are redundant. With over 15 years of professional outside sales experience, I have never worked for an organization this off balance with regards to leadership! From the CEO down there is no trust within the management team or style. It is absolutely maddening that a Company would Micro Manage with fear and intimidation. Ones past achievements are out the window the following week as they have a "What have you done for me lately" mentality in upper management negating any past wins or income that would be brought to the Company. Last but not least-Stop changing your comp plan every year so your Company can line it's pockets and force sales professionals to get a math degree to figure out why they didn't make commissions that were promised.

Disconnect between employees and management

Pros

No micromanaging. Consistent work. Some opportunity for advancement.

Cons

No real management. If you're at a satellite location, you'll probably never hear from management unless it's an email here or there. Review for satellite locations are baseless at best. Pay is erratic. Meaning, push for a high starting salary if you can because you'll be lucky if you ever see a raise. They're based out of CA, but NY area runs at a different pace. Higher ups are completely out of touch with those whose feet are on the ground doing the work.
