Pros
ARC has really stepped up it's game as of late with many new pro-employee benefits. They have recently instituted a nice profit sharing plan which gives all employees the opportunity to earn extra $$ based on their service centers performance. They can also earn yearly increases based on their branches performance. This coupled with an increase in PTO hours in the last few years and many employee incentive programs is a HUGE step in the right direction for this company. We now work for a company which offers many different solutions for all types of customers and markets. This environment fosters growth for our sales staff and allows almost any business they walk into to have a use for one of our products.
Cons
The service centers profit sharing plan is great for the employees, but judging them based on EBIT rather than GP dollars is a stretch because the employees have very little control in many of the administrative dollars that are allocated out of the division and in many cases these dollars are even hard to identify.
