Pros

Cant think of any. Salaries are low. Benefits now that its part of gdit stink. High turnover rate. They do have nice shirts though!

Cons

Non management management. Fraternity type company. Small raises and teenie bonuses. Does not support its employees well regarding clients. Many companies that are much better.

Pros

Wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics IT. Some good coworkers. In my experience working past shift has only been necessary in true emergencies. Work time seems to be flexible although it's an unwritten rule as opposed to backed by corporate policy.

Cons

Wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics IT. (yes, it is also a CON) This is an organization borne from and run by prior Senior NCO and Officers of the Military and it shows poorly. Corporate level support is non-existent. Cost of benefits recently skyrocketed while available time off and holidays has gone down. It's a Fisher Price - My First Contracting organization. The work place is a walking talking HR nightmare. Everything you need to know about mentality of this "company" is summed up by the following statements from Upper Management (C-Level) during All-Hands meetings: 1. We pay more than other contracts so we pay you to work a lot. You are expected to work as long as it takes to get the job done. -They don't pay you to be intelligent, good at your job or to exceed expectations, simply to work a lot. And they don't, in-fact, pay more than other contracts. 2. We pay for a lot of training classes for a lot of employees. If you don't get the training you want or ask for it's your fault for not -So it's YOUR problem that you request training but then are denied or ignored by management. Just so we're clear on that. I see nothing of a normal job environment where goals are set, guidelines are maintained and primary responsibilities are outlined. It appears to be an environment of "lets throw all these cats in a room and see what happens."
