The work-life balance and environment are refreshing!

Pros

- Flexible schedules - Remote working is optional - Being able to leave work before the sun sets! - Adequate manpower (definitely a plus!) and technological resources

Cons

I have yet to see a con to working here -- aside from, maybe, annual salary...it could be a bit more competitive.

Pros

People are warm, welcoming, smart. Very little political intrigue, gossip, backbiting. Decent salaries for a nonprofit. Excellent benefits, including tuition reimbursement. Good mission. CEO offers a role model for how to lead with a firm hand while also empowering and respecting all staff. Excellent financial position.

Cons

It's such a good place to work that the senior staff almost never leave, thus making it harder for others to rise.

Pros

Fun environment & excellent perks (time off, staff outings, 401k matching)

Cons

No real growth opportunities. Lots of turnover with younger staff that reach a certain point and realize there is nowhere to go.
