      No Communication, No Work/Life Balance, Favoritism

      Good benefits, 401k match, paid time off

      Cons

      Since the rebranding as ASC a few years ago, there is little to no communication from the top down. Upper management makes decisions without consideration of current practices and without discussing the potential impact with seasoned employees. Employees are treated poorly and the work environment is toxic. More than a few longtime seasoned employees, myself included, got fed up and left.

      Pros

      Great hourly employees who deserve better leadership.

      Cons

      Asc leadership has built a culture of elitism , alienating hourly workers. Corporate visits to sites leave employees with a bad taste as leadership walks around and does not introduce themselves or get to know anyone. Asc hires 99% none minority for all leadership positions. Look up the info, it's all there in black and white.

      Pros

      A blend of domestic and import products, solid inventory levels to sell from, and solid quality control department.

      Cons

      A merger of Smith Cooper and Anvil - Anvil leadership won control and kept their culture of below industry standard pay. Run by private equity so no real industry care.
