Pros

Flexible hours, option to pick up hours, various shifts to be worked, you really get to know your residents well, and coworkers are really pleasant.

Cons

Sometimes scheduling can get difficult if an employee leaves unexpectedly.

Pros

The Residents were great. I really enjoyed them.

Cons

There was a very eratic staff Member that was able to get away with dispicable behavior. Some of the Management does not value safety and professionalism. The Manager seemed to be more concered with having to replace him with someone else that addressing his behavior. I was basically told to be quiet, and avoid him. The Staff Member was cussing, behaving erratically and bumped into me on with out saying anything. He had no consequences. He was allowed to finish out the night like nothing serious happened. Then proceeded to pace back and forth in the parking lot angrily instead working. I knew it wasn't the place for me to work after that.

Hello, I would like to apologize for the unpleasant, negative interaction that you experienced as an employee at ASI. Please know that we value each employees safety and well-being. Staff are required to report any unsafe and unlawful behavior that they are witness to at the site. Please also know that, at ASI we are all about holding people accountable for their actions. ASI does not have a progressive discipline policy - we strive to ensure that all staff have guidance as to what type of conduct is acceptable in the workplace and what type of conduct is prohibited. We aim to be consistent when addressing issues that arise in the workplace. Often, issues can be corrected immediately after being addressed with the individual - but issues of a same or similar nature can reappear some time later. In those cases, it is important that management is aware so that we can look at other options for addressing the matter While I can assure you that this issue was addressed, I cannot tell you what consequences the employee incurred as a result.
