Not really great on training

Lack of promotional ways and training

Senior leadership, HR and sale in particular, really poor, challenging behaviours. Self serving team. Talk about lots of good things but rarely pull through. For the leadership team, jollies abroad to all the events seem to be why they fulfil their roles. Limited to know development, a little bit of sales training, negotiating etc. Hardly sets your career alight. Poor culture and feels very clique orientated. If you are in the inner, particularly in sales you do well, but you will be made to feel it if you are on the outer. Team constantly back bites against other departments. HR Leadership is poor at best. This needs to be a strong function. Sadly it's not. Constantly looking the other way and covering up misdemeanours at the Gms request. Really poor!

Back office staff e.g. ops/finance/facilities/HR not looked after Leadership not on the same page so one leader is strict, another has relaxed approach No career progression of training available unless your in Sales

Career development is poor - no amount of LinkedIn courses or basics leadership training will bridge the gap. It's a nice start but sadly there are too many brick walls to run through to get better. Sales leadership is poor - in that behaviours are appalling. Clique would be the best way to describe certain sections of leadership and teams. It's hard to do any form of creative work as there are lots of internal blocks and Japan HQ is a major frustration. SMSB is what we talk to but internally we just don't care. Passive CEO, aggressive CFO, aggressive belligerent GM Sales, challenging leadership from all other functions. Some genuinely good people have been forced out the business.

Retail hours can be inconsistent, especially for casual staff, and shifts often include evenings, weekends, and holidays. The store can get very busy during sales periods, which can be stressful at times.
