Pros

I enjoy the work I am doing and I enjoy the people I work with.

Cons

If you come in at a low salary it will follow you. People are told there are no promotions outside of review cycle yet I have seen several people promoted outside of review cycle and in organization communications

Pros

Ladder is so small, you can climb quickly

Cons

Infrastructure is not set up for engineers to succeed. There a lack for foresight for what is need 1-2 years in advance by management and in the end it falls on working level engineers to save the company by working insane hours while being insulted by upper management.

Pros

Interesting and challenging work, state of the art semiconductor processes and hardware development, good co-workers

Cons

Top management creates a toxic work culture, finger-pointing is use to blame engineer level, no sense of common goal and solving issues as a company. Scare tactics used by the management are preventing engineers from giving their best. Priorities are changing too fast. Goal misalignment between top level management falls back on engineer.
