      Very qualified individuals High integrity Good Pay Long term vision in place

      Cons

      No strategy to implement the long vision in place Over the top work load Working in 3 time zones if you're in a global team No direction or strategy Churn is very high No continuity Projects thrown out for no reason Focusing on the wrong items No use of Data Analytics to solve problems No benefits - or none I've seen Lots of politics People fired at any time - 6 people i worked closely for over 2 years (highly competent individuals) Management is abusive People refuse higher positions to avoid termination

      Old school mentality

      Nice colleagues Great friendships Good benefits Low amount of politics

      Cons

      Terrible WFO policy that makes us return to office 4 days a week in December onwards. Super unproductive and a hindrance to our productivity Management refuses to listen to feedback on WFO policy , instead doing a blanket 4 days a week in office. Woodlands is so far flung, and time is spent on unnecessarily travelling HR is unable to do anything about this policy, making us wonder if we should leave for a more forward thinking company soon

      Firing culture

      Pros

      If you have a great boss, he/she will protect you from bad culture of firing

      Cons

      In Singapore ASM front end has the culture of firing, especially the manager level, average tenure is 3-5 years, surely they will ask you to go for no reason. I had many capable colleagues were let go, but they get even better job than ASM. The bunch of ASM old folks that reporting to CEO always play this game. It works to them to keep their job and high pay.
