It may take you a few weeks to get all the approvals to commit a 50-line code patch - A lot of documentation around the code: design specification, test specification, etc. Even for small code changes. - You are likely decreasing your employablity chances,in the outside world, as ASML often uses outdated SW technologies - Line management is not very concerned to motivate the employees and find the best fit job for them long-term. Rather, put them to solve some hot problem at hand.
