Pros

ASML is a company whose focus is on the future. From the world class engineering feats that push the laws of physics to perpetuate Moore's Law to their focus on employee satisfaction that result in facility renovations and improved vacation policies, there's an ever-present drive to be better than our current selves. The employee atmosphere encourages speaking up and provides early career growth potential. No need to worry about designing another "cog in the machine," ASML empowers employees to take ownership of high level deliverables which are directly tied to company success.

Cons

Employee diversity can be improved; however, in recent years our demographics have steadily gotten better. Cafeteria food is substandard.

Pros

The immense importance of ASML to the semiconductor industry goes unnoticed. It is the leader in cutting-edge technology and makes the impossible possible. Where even picometers matter, this is an engineer's dream to work here. The influx of young, ambitious, and highly-talented PhD's is changing the culture. ASML is highly collaborative, where knowledge transfer is routine and encouraged. Management is highly structured and accountability is always taken seriously. New office and cafeteria renovations has created a better working atmosphere as well.

Cons

People get shuffled to different projects and sometimes limits growth and expertise in an area. Cafeteria food is sub-par. Parking is tight.

Pros

Some of the most breaking edge technology is needed to meet the sub-nanometer error budgets of ASML machines. I honestly get excited working here. The work is challenging and heavily based on commercializing new technology into complex projects that perform better than any competing product.

Cons

Wilton has a stubborn and dated culture and attitude. This is a con to having so many experienced engineers in one building. Management is working on bringing a younger and more dynamic feel to the Wilton office. The Dutch headquarters has a much younger and more collaborative culture.
