Pros

Cutting-edge Technology: ASML is at the forefront of technological innovation in the semiconductor industry. Working here provides exposure to state-of-the-art technologies and projects, allowing for continuous professional growth. Collaborative Culture: The company fosters a culture of collaboration and teamwork. As a Senior Software Architect, I have had the opportunity to work with highly skilled and passionate individuals, contributing to a positive and stimulating work environment. Professional Development Opportunities: ASML recognizes the importance of staying ahead in the fast-paced tech industry. The company invests in its employees' professional development, offering training programs and resources to keep skills sharp and up-to-date. Work-Life Balance: ASML values the well-being of its employees and promotes a healthy work-life balance. Flexible work arrangements and supportive policies contribute to a positive and sustainable work environment. Innovative Projects: The projects I have been involved in are intellectually challenging and rewarding. ASML encourages creativity and problem-solving, providing a platform for architects to make meaningful contributions to cutting-edge technologies.

Cons

Fast-paced Environment: The nature of ASML's work can lead to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, which may not suit everyone. It's important for employees to be adaptable and comfortable with the speed of technological advancements. Complexity of Projects: The complexity of projects can be both a pro and a con. While it offers stimulating challenges, it may also require a steep learning curve for those not accustomed to intricate technical environments. Limited Work-Life Separation: Due to the nature of the industry and the significance of projects, achieving a strict work-life separation can be challenging at times. This may be a consideration for individuals who highly prioritize a clear delineation between work and personal life.

Pros

Good product Pay is reasonable

Cons

1. No remote working option; 2. Very laid-back culture and is in low efficiency, that's why they keep hiring people. 3. Constantly fire new hires (<1 yr) on the spot because 'We expected someone more senior'; 4. Constant yelling from the manager who seem is going through mid-life crisis and has really bad temper issue; 5. High expectation but no training, reasonable mistakes are treated with sarcastic/mean comments; 6. Lots of office politics, there are brown-noses everywhere who are ready to stab your back to promote themselves;

Pros

Profit sharing 13 th month

Cons

Team of individuals with less than 1.5 years of experience in ASML, and unfortunately, lack of familiarity with protocols or contact information. Additionally, the supervision provided (Buddy's with less than 1 year working at ASML) to new engineers are inadequate, as they assigned tasks without a clear understanding of how to contribute effectively. The virtual training they offer, which are expected to prepare new engineers for their tasks, are often tedious, lacking clarity, and not very helpful. The internal competition to achieve year-end bonuses for a salary increase is a problem, the managers or team leaders above you dont hesitate to screw your efforts, even if it ends your career.
