Pros

The organization does wonderful work to help animals.

Cons

The organization does not care for employees. HR favors management, HR is overwork and understaffed, CEO is a TRAINWRECK - visibly drunk at staff holiday party, rumored to be having relationships with coworkers, has his favorites who are promoted despite lack of experience or even doing a job well done.

Great mission, but people are disposable

Pros

The work and mission of this organization are stellar and most of the people are passionate about animal welfare and live it in their daily lives.

Cons

The leadership views people as expendable -- ones who've devoted their entire careers are booted out and the turnover of rank and file is staggering.
