Gave Up On Shelters to Try to Be Like HSUS

Pros

Used to help shelters nationwide in all aspects. Invested in communities. Good pay. Good benefits. Disaster team was great.

Cons

Let go of talented and older employees in "reorganizing" schemes. Bully bosses who shouldn't have been in those positions in the first place because they don't have good people skills. Mean girl club. Absolutely insulting and disrespectful to employees who pioneered change in animal welfare. Stopped helping shelters. Duplicating efforts in the field by pursuing more legislative work--like HSUS already does.
