Pros

Benefits are good. The AE team seems happy same with RDS in new ventures. Just stay away from the RDS/Channel Team for MFH.

Cons

I'm finally writing my overdue review of Luxer One. My experience there was strange, as I was let go after just two months, with no severance and less than a week of insurance coverage remaining. This was due to not being considered a cultural fit, despite me being the one to proactively contact HR seeking intervention due to feeling mistreated by coworkers. The RDS/Channel team, with the exception of one person, exhibited narcissistic behavior, resulting in dreadful team morale. Two long-standing male team members were particularly resistant to differing viewpoints, often challenging even the most straightforward statements. A simple conversation was a full blown 10 minute debate, making it impossible to get anywhere and in the most painful way. The other person would just say how much they hated their job every day. He stated he was upset he didn't get my job, then would go to my manager and express that I was a terrible fit and unqualified for my role. The negative energy and attitude this person gave off was something I hope to never experience again in my career. When I raised my concerns with HR, I expressed my frustration at the team's unwillingness to support a new colleague. They were quick to debate, ridicule, and call me out. My manager, also new and unavailable for support, left me relying on my bitter and unhelpful colleagues. My manager left me high and dry by constantly cancelling calls with me and not showing up to weekly calls to support me in my new role with the RDS/Channel Team who I often worked with from a cross-functional standpoint. Despite asking my manager several times for a commission plan, I never received one in the two months of my role, even though commissions were a significant part of my total earnings. My “onboarding” document to follow for new hires that included an itinerary of calls for meet/greats and who to go to and for work, was given to me about two months in – and two months too late. A bit about me: I am highly organized, positive, and excel in my work. I am adept at engaging with diverse audiences and have successfully managed 10 rental properties in addition to my full-time job. I thrive on challenges and have consistently performed well in any position I’ve ever held. Ultimately, I am grateful to have been let go, as the anxiety I experienced during weekly calls were unbearable. Spending Friday evenings distraught was not worth the two months I spent in this role.
