Pros

Not much. The job is easy to get, I guess, and it's generally not that hard to learn and do.

Cons

Everything else. Keep in mind it's not an Assa Abloy review, but a part of the group, DoniMet. This company specifically is overall terrible. The pay is low, but not minimal - it's still quite bad, considering everyone are getting more or less the same, be it a fresh-out-of-school youngster, or an old proffessional who works there for 20 years +. The management imposes more duties and responsibilities on workers while not giving any compensation back, so there's not much development opportunities too. It's a literal fight against the manager when one tries to get a vacation leave. Sometimes the manager also calls people that are on the leave to ask if they can come because "there's a lot of work" (sure) and keeps asking employees to come to work on Saturdays for the same reason. But the fact is, the organization is so poor that some people can work 2-3 hours a day (and yes, these are the people that get asked to come work Saturday too). Granted, there are cases where someone works 8 hours and there's still a lot of work to be done at their post, but that's - from my perspective - occassional. There's a lot of cases where some crucial stuff is missing. Sometimes there's no protective gloves. Sometimes - quite often, too - there's no bottled water. In the winter the temperature is rarely over 14 celsius and there were cases where it dropped to 0-2 celsius for a couple of days this year only, which for the employer to make people work in such environment is illegal I think. No one reports it though because apparrently it's just like every other day in this company. Every day something's messed up. And people both don't care and are afraid to stand up for their rights. They also seem to be out of alternatives too, so they just come to terms with working in such cesspool. I could vent about this job for ages and write essays, but who cares. If you're looking for a job at DoniMet, consider other alternatives. It's fine as a job for a student who looks to get some cash and try to pursue the carreer elsewhere a bit later. Some young people even "like" that job (reminder that the whole area has similiar mentality so they're used to hard work without much compensation and, uh, "strict" parenting). Before trying this job though, make sure you're confident in your mental health, because not everyone can endure this place.
