Pros

People on the shop floor MAKE this company.

Cons

Upper management is the reason this company is always on the catch up. Production manager was given the title not earned just like the people he helps advance. Skilled and experienced workers get undermined all the time.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We highly encourage employees to apply internally for available openings and do take all applicants into consideration. We currently have a referral bonus program for many levels of staff whereby we encourage existing staff to refer their network to apply for current openings. We have also had huge success with internal movement within the company as we love to promote from within to those that have grown and have developed the right skillset for new roles. Lastly, our recruitment process is extensive and we take great pride in making sure that we hire candidates based on experience, qualifications and the right fit. Hoping this addresses your concerns, and thanking you for the feedback.

Pros

Monday-Friday Good people when it comes to not being about work Good teammmatee

Cons

Care less about the production team. Office staff complain about coming to work when we need them care more about working from home. Upper management is a friends club. Management does nothing to help develop its own people, little room for advancement. Would rather pay to re hire than train in house. Underpaid as a carpenter in this business.

Thank you for your feedback. We are so glad you enjoy your working relationship with colleagues, as having great relationships at work is important and valuable. As the landscape in hybrid work is shifting, we are managing the working arrangements on an ongoing basis, and making sure we work with our employees to address their needs in regards to a work-life balance. Our internal referral bonus program has been a benefit for many levels of staff whereby we encourage existing staff to refer their network to apply for current openings. We have also had huge success with internal movement within the company as we love to promote from within to those that have grown and have developed the right skillset for new roles. So we definitely have much room for advancement and we do offer training programs to help our employees develop their skillset. Wages and salaries are based on market value and unique skillsets, thus we do take great care when determining our rates. In terms of benefits and sick days, ASTOUND currently offers higher than average minimum requirements, as we care about our employees wellbeing and mental health. Thanks again for your note, and we hope to have addressed your concerns.

Pros

none, but the minium requirement on glass door is 5 words...

Cons

the most toxic and dysfunctional place I have ever stepped foot into, upper management is too busy patting themselves on the back to realize they are the biggest problem
