Pros

- Friendly employees - Self motivated

Cons

- Since merging with DIRECTV, there has been a lot of confusion on roles/teams, lots of layoffs and constant changes - Retracting working from home mentality; requiring new hires to be located in main hubs - Overlap of projects is common since there is confusion among the different products between DIRECTV and AT&T

Pros

Many dedicated and hardworking people work for AT&T at the lower management levels.

Cons

The layers of upper management and continuous reshuffling and reorging completely derails any capability to deliver value to customers and stockholders. Employee morale and customer satisfaction is low. The ill conceived idea by leadership that by continually changing something progress is made is off base. Reshuffling teams is used to promote any number of upper management (layers: Director; Executive Director; AVP; VP; EVP etc etc etc).
