Pros

The pay is good and the benefits are outstanding. I am currently considered to be "unskilled" and "uneducated" so making $25 an hour is pretty darn good! The tuirtion reimbursement program is allowing me to complete my degree and I only have to pay for books. In my opinion there is no other company I would rather be working for at this time.

Cons

Of course the downside is always going to be the stability of your job. There is always a lot of movement and a lot of downsizing and you just pray that it is not you this time. I guess if the highest paid exec would not take their huge bonus every year, it might save some jobs.

Pros

Pay, Rotational opportunities, variety in work assignments. there are many organizations and given the opportunity, you can move to any functional areas as long as you have some expertise. Management in general re-inforces that same view. Pay in competitive in most cases. Geographical locations mean it is easier to move from one region to another and most likely you will find a position that fits your skills, which is quite helpful, if you spouse takes on a new job and you have to move with them.

Cons

Low opportunities for career growth...benefits not par with many others.

Pros

The Pay is great and benefits are good but they are slowing being taken away.

Cons

There is no sense of job security the past few years when outsourcing started. Jobs either go to Off Shore or they take a group and announce that they are now working for another company. These people are sitting in their same desk, doing the same job but now for another company with less benefits. After a year they are told that their salary is going to be lowered or they can look for another job. Raises don't even cover the cost of living. Senior management continues to receive high salaries, bonuses and stock rewards.
