Pros

love the people I work with, but not the case at some locations. Good experience just out of college or while in grad school like me. Learn to deal with lots of different people in different mood. Pay is good for the type of work compared to other starting salaries.

Cons

Micromanaged, little concern for employees, some metrix are unfair and unrealistic in certain markets.

Pros

AT&T is a fantastic place to work if you are motivated solely by money. The benefits offered while I was employed there were amazing.

Cons

The customer's well being was rarely taken into account and representatives were often pressured to sell products without the customer's best interest in mind. The company is absorbed in short term profits, not long-term lasting satisfaction for their customers or their employees. We (sales representatives) were strongly encouraged to regularly work into the evenings without compensation. The overall work environment felt like a high-pressure sales day-care center.

Pros

The salary and benefits are very good.

Cons

The company has unrealistic productivity goals. There are various productivity programs such as ESM, and MSOC. Once technicians achieve production goals, the company raises them.
