Pros

Hardworking, supportive teams who are all as passionate about the work they do as you are.

Cons

Has a strong corporate environment which makes it different than other theatre jobs. Growth is limited and people get stuck in the same roles for very long times while senior management are slotted in at the top.

Pros

Short Hours. Pay is better than other theaters. They would work around an artists schedule.

Cons

Management has little regard for hourly employees. Rarely promote from within. High turnover rate due to managements inability to hire quality staff. The toxic atmosphere with employees who work on the floor as well as ones who work behind the scenes is conducive to poor morale. Overall, the management skills are nil. It's a "hit it and quit it" type of job with almost no possible career growth for FOH staff.
