Pros

-Some freebies -biggest company -lots of venues

Cons

Freebies normally reserved for divisional managers. Lots of backslapping in that department. P lots of focus internally on how to fleece the customer of money... so ice creams.. premium... do not put the cheaper ones out... most expensive spirits etc. FOH management get paid peanuts compared to technical departments. Culture of Blame. Centralised customer experience team is ridiculous- roll out everything without thought. No communication. No training -apart from - 3 days of dross- with sandwiches. Nice trip to London though.

Pros

Worked in a diverse team who all share an interest in theatre. Had some good times with some staff who I still keep in contact with now.

Cons

Bad management - including bullying. Staff disability discrimination. Unachievable targets. Low pay. No appreciation for good work. I could go on....

Pros

The staff in theatres are incredible lovely interesting people and very hard working. Management in the theatre are often great.

Cons

Head office has no understanding about what it is like to be in venue. Very little respect from upper management. Take it or leave it attitude from upper management. Not a lot of training on new procedures. Staff in venue are treated badly with very little respect by upper management, unreasonable expectations about working hours when salaried and working in venue. You are made to feel that complaints will result in a lack of progression in career.
