Bully boy environment

Pros

great venue and met some lovely people. Good experience of live gigs and shows, helped me go on to a career in live events.

Cons

Most senior management are men and bullies. Very few women over a certain age exist in management, even though the CEO is a woman. I experienced harassment from a male manager over a long period, complained but nothing was done. HR and senior management were useless, backed the bully and covered up the whole thing!

Pros

It is a pleasure and a privilege to work for this company. The people who are employed by this company are all genuinely nice people as it is a requirement for the exceptional customer service that you are trained. Fun job. Great for students or part time.

Cons

It is a zero hour contract. This means if there is no work you have zero hours.

Pros

Great people, great pay, you get to watch shows when you work on house - As I'm a student it's all evening work, so it fits in pretty well with my schedule.

Cons

Work comes as the season goes - Usually the season is September-June and then, as all theatres are, there is a dark period where there is no shows on: and therefore there is no work. So many people have to get a second job during these dark periods.
