Pros

Excellent 401K plan, Health Insurance is pretty much standard for manufacturing, Solid customer base, Good mix of product / services / technologies on offer across the brand, Great inter-company plan for in-house supply and good support across the technologies for final product to customer, Good leadership - not overly bureaucratic

Cons

Headquarters needs to listen a bit more first - headquarters doesn't necessarily equal best practice. Preaching work life balance but not practicing - not in all facilities

Pros

ATI Irvine is a very fast growing facility. They are constantly updating their processes, procedures, and facilities, and employing more and more people. There is lots of opportunity to learn new things and grow. Pay is pretty average for a entry level engineer, but 401K plan is amazing.

Cons

The way some of the parts is a little old fashioned. They are starting to move to new software and methods, but most design processes are done in the same way they were 30 years ago.

Pros

Supervisors are personable, co-workers are easy to get along with.

Cons

Bad mouthing fellow employees behind their back. On my first day the first thing it was instructed on was who in my department I should stay away from and watch out for. This attitude is a festering wound.
