      Pros

      Free parking, clean facilities, nice people, supportive management, and challenging job tasks. The people who work here make coming to work enjoyable. Also, world class safety program.

      Cons

      Most locations are too far from metro areas, especially in the winter months. No added perks to employment (work from home, gym, child care, etc).

      Pros

      company offered great benefits with pension and 401 k retirement plans, health and dental insurance were also very good. Vacation and paid holidays also very attractive.

      Cons

      Company management not open to employee inputs and thoughts on how business is being run. Very large company to run like a small business.

      The company makes a high quality product.

      Cons

      The mission statement doesn't reach to the lowest levels of the organization. Process comes before people, even when it doesn't make financial sense. Injury risks are prevalent, organizational culture is conflicted between continuous improvement, and the history of the steel industry.
