Hidden costs, hit or miss instructors, management is clueless, in a constant state of fear of being let go due to aggressive management, job is not guaranteed

Pros

The biggest pro about working for ATP is the aircraft. They are all new and well kept. there is a constant influx of students so you stay busy and building hours as an instructor. ATP has made available all resources for both student and instructor to be successful in the pilot training environment.

Cons

In comparison to many other flight schools, ATP flight instructors are well underpaid. Because ATP is a large chain flight school, it is corporate driven and is hard for both instructors and students at time to stay positive and have fun with their flight training.
