Pros

Free lunches and nice view of the mountains.

Cons

The company overall is subpar. The loan specialist position is a desperation job. It only pays minimum wage with commission, depending on the amount of deals a Loan Specialist (LS) is able to close. It is a typical sales position that says the pay is uncapped, which is a lie. It is only uncapped if you magically get great leads at all times. It is eerily quiet on the LS floor. Everything is set up to be virtual. There is no reason to even be on-site but the company demands that all employees work in the office. There is no hybrid or remote work available unless under specific circumstances. The company purposefully doesn’t buy work equipment to force everyone into the office. Training was rushed into a two week period of time. Then you move onto a Boot Camp where coaches are to ramp up the LS team even more. The coaches and supervisors will be 5 feet away from an individual and will not get up to answer questions or show a person how to do something unless compelled too. Instead they will contact a person on Microsoft Teams. The HR department are the police of the company. HR is incompetent at best and useless to employees at the worst. They will find any little thing to write people up and to create a fear based environment. There is a juvenile point system that is used to hold people accountable. HR is so focused on being in control that they will not see anyone’s humanity and commit to unethical business practices. Forget about work life balance, there is none, employees will be asked to work on Saturdays and not be paid for overtime work, just the standard pay and commission. There is not much opportunity for advancement at this company. It’s really just department hopping. Run from this position if you have any dignity.

Pros

Discount on refinance while employed

Cons

They do not care about their employees. Will work you even through a child birth and fire you the same year. Better services out there that care about people.
