Pros

* Insanely smart people who push themselves and help each other improve and do better * A company culture that values individuality, diversity, and creativity of its team members * Leadership that is obsessive about continuous improvement for our customers and our team * Paid benefits, free amazing gourmet lunch, awesome company events.... there is no shortage of perks and benefits * Career path and mentorship programs, and a strong preference for promotion from within * Agile and devops are in the DNA of the company from top to bottom. * Transparency: if you ask, you're likely to get a useful answer. AWeber is a technology company, but is a lot more customer focused than many technology companies. The customer focus is what binds our whole company together as a unified team. In other tech companies, engineers don't even know the names of people in marketing, and sometimes there is no real customer service presence. At AWeber, product teams are cross-functional and cross-departmental, so the daily standup and other team meetings include people from marketing, customer solutions, product, as well as all of the engineering disciplines - development, QA, operations, design, etc. The cross-pollenation and ideas that come from this diversity of thought is pretty amazing.

Cons

* Occasionally the company moves *too* fast to improve things, either in the technology space, or in the process/management space, which can cause some bumps & bruises. It's usually worth it.

Pros

I don't want to talk about them anymore.

Cons

Diversity and inclusion? More like lip service. Sure, there were posters plastered everywhere proclaiming our commitment to equality, but the reality was a sea of faces that all looked the same. It's time to walk the walk, AWeber, not just talk to talk!

Pros

Coming to AWeber has definitely been a great career move for me. I've learned a ton, and am continuously challenged with fun and exciting opportunities. AWeber truly lives our core values and the results are apparent: - Amazingly talented team members who are truly experts of their domain - An emphasis on technology, we are collectively very active in the Open Source world and have a passion for innovation - Fantastic product and team that outshines the competition in some major areas: Deliverability, Customer Service, Ease of Use, Training & Education, etc. - Emphasis on employee development and continuous learning for all - Culture that spurs creativity, transparency, and collaboration - Empowerment of all team members to innovate and look at new ways to problem solve - Benefits plans that blow most employers out of the water - A casual environment where you are encouraged to truly be yourself at work - Continuous and open feedback is shared amongst peers - Lots of cool perks: free lunches, game lounge, slides (yes, plural) - An industry that is growing rapidly with a ton of room for growth for the company I have made great friends here and absolutely have felt at home since day one. I see great things in the future for myself and for everyone here.

Cons

There are very few things that I could complain about at AWeber, but obviously we're not perfect: - Our engineering team has grown a bit slower than we'd like, and so we feel a bit short staffed at times - Brand awareness has been a bit of a struggle. We are still "the best kept secret" in the Philly tech scene - Change happens fast at AWeber. I personally love it, but it can be overwhelming for some Like I said, there isn't much to complain about, and we are definitely taking strong steps forward to address brand recognition and recruiting.
