Pros

- Good place to get your Series 7 (and either 63 + 65 or 66), along with life insurance license, if that's something that interests you - Good place to get a little bit of an introduction to the business, if you land with the right manager and people

Cons

- Pretty much standard expectations of you to just call and call and call, without giving too much help or advice, unless you can bring in a bunch of clients / money for them - If you land with a manager who isn't great (I was at the Manhattan, NYC office on 6th Ave, so that's the group of managers I'm referring to), it's going to make things harder - Not much in the way of great pay (or advancements), unless you do really well
