AXA Rosenberg is a preeminent global investment manager, with offices worldwide. Its employees are friendly and knowledgeable. Hours are flexible. It's located in Orinda, which is a sleepy suburb.

Cons

The company ran into difficulty in 2010, and has been struggling ever since. Employees have left, but I think things will turn around. It's located in Orinda, which is a sleepy suburb.

Cons

For me it was the commute to Jersey City from Long Island, before the move there we were located in headquarters in Midtown NYC. The other downside to being located in Jersey City is that most of AXA Distributors (marketing, senior management, and strategic accounts) are located in head quarters. As a result there was a disconnect in important communications.
