Pros

Can be a fun and friendly environment to work in. Decent pay (see cons), bonuses vacation and sick time. The Regional and Divisional Managers I dealt with are awesome. If you're willing to listen and help the customer, the relationship with them is great as well.

Cons

Pay could be better for store level management, and the pay raise structure/evaluation process could be better. Corporate office is constantly throwing bigger unnecessary workloads on store level management. If a store acquisition takes place between Aaron's and Brand X (Rent A Center), no matter how many years you have been with Aaron's, you may be forced to work for Brand X or be jobless with no option of transferring to a local Aaron's and your insurance stopping as of that day it takes place.

Pros

Three weeks paid vacation but not at what you make if you were working but based on straight pay for your hourly pay.

Cons

Regional managers lack real industry experience and education, yet these are the guys making decision to drive the business to the ground.

Pros

401k. Paid vacation and health benefits.

Cons

The hours are terrible. You’re here from sun up to sun down. I’m not sure about other franchises but the one I work for is always asking for more and more and yes there is room for improvement and room for growth but when the store you work for is not performing and the acting manager doesn’t care. It affects you and you don’t get a raise. You never get a thank you. This company doesn’t care about their employees they just care that you put more money in their pocket.
