Pros

If you're outgoing, you'll get a chance to network and meet all kinds of people and businesses. Due to minimal staffing, you will learn every aspect of the business.

Cons

Terrible hours - sometimes 12 hour days, 6 days a week. The regionals have the "you're salary, so I expect you to work 100 hours." mentality. Speaking of, the regionals in my area got there because of who they know, not ever have accomplishing anything - so don't expect them to understand or have your back. Get ready to chase accounts and show up at customer's houses at 8 o'clock at night to recover their merchandise - and get ready for angry, sometimes violent responses. People don't consider it a legit business, and treat you as seedy salesmen when they realize how much they actually pay for their items when taken to term. Considering the hours, the pay is terribly low and the bonus structure is extremely weak - don't fall for their "this store manager made 12k a quarter in bonuses." I wouldn't recommend this position to anyone unless it's a single person without a degree who wants to get into management in the worst way to beef up a resume.

Pros

Salary, bonuses, benefits, good work environment, promotion opportunities, employee discounts on products, meeting new people, etc. Wow. I am really suprised reading the reviews on here. Aaron's really is a great place to work. The opportunites for advancement are terrific, and if you work hard and perform well, it will be noticed. One of the few companies that I feel really give employees a chance to prove themselves and you are rewarded for it! Sure it is long hours at times and physical, but if you work hard and strive to be successful, Aaron's will take you there!!

Cons

The only downside would be long hours and sometimes handling irate customers. If you enjoy customer service, this is just something that comes with the job, but it does give you the chance to turn it into a great experience for the customer.

Pros

sundays off all major holidays paid off as well healthcare is fair if you can afford it.

Cons

Raises are a joke you will never feel valued EVER over five years of service only two raises 1st .50cents hr second .25cents hr. Five years .75cents an hour total. Long hours you will be trying to balance you life around work constantly, large percentage of customers are ssi based income with mental defects and elderly be prepared to be threatened yelled at and cursed out i have even seen assaults on rare occasion. Have no doubt you are simply a number to this company and they will treat you as such. Constant changes of collection about every six months because the company can't communicate with each other.
