Pros
Excellent benefits, including 401K and pension, up to 6 weeks vacation and profit sharing. It's difficult to find a company with a pension these days, then add in the other benefits make them hard to match.
Cons
Abbott management is moving toward a temporary work force, so you might not be there long enough to become vested. Most employees are wondering when the department will be the next area to be transitioned to a 3rd party or when their division will be sold or when the company will be sold.
