Pros

Abbott Nutrition has very good benefits. The people that work there are also very good, very nice people. I also frequently have a lot of fun in my job.

Cons

As with most corporations, they are slow to accept and act on new ideas or ways of doing things. If you try to champion a new way of doing things, you get labeled as "difficult to work with". Also, contractors are treated as second-class-citizens and we don't retain the ones that are talented and good at their jobs.

Pros

The best reasons include: a solid product, namely Humira, and great site in NJ, which they are closing

Cons

There is no opportunity for advancement unless you reside in IL. You must also have no opposition to kissing ass. It's the place to work if you really aren't fully competent at your job, but know how to schmooze the right people.

Pros

Recession Resistant, secure job, offers profit sharing on a yearly basis.

Cons

Does not promote employees within, upper management does not know what they are doing, they never ask questions when they don't know what they are doing. New hires and promotions are based on meeting the "minority" quota not the most competent employee.
