      Steady employment and nice benefit package

      Rather hire outsiders than promote from within. Supervisors’ hands are tied by executive level management that have no clue.

      Pros

      Compassionate, caring and supportive colleagues. Front Line Staff care about the individuals who are receiving services. The participants strengths, abilities and interests are considered when staff are developing programs.

      Cons

      Management has changed over the past few years, resulting in favoritism in promotions. Therefore, managers are promoted with little experience in certain services, for example people with experience in day habilitation, residential habilitation and employment services are promoted in a department that he or she has no experience in.
