Lots of opportunity if you can weather common scale up challenges
Pros
- Smart people at the top of their game, especially in engineering - Company well positioned to IPO, positive growth quarter over quarter - Everyone who works here is hyper focused on growth and what it takes to get to the next level - Lots of experimentation happening and a big appetite for trying new methods; there’s a lot of opportunity to build new processes, programs, etc - Pretty transparent leadership when it comes to company vision, position, etc - Everyone works remote, but you have opportunities throughout the year for in person meetings, trainings - Pay is competitive and bonus pool is often filled; equity is big part of comp and it’s pretty generous
Cons
- Remote connection can be hard; not a culture where people reach out to make a lot of personal connections - Priorities shift often at a team or department level and can create thrash - Work/life balance can be tough in some departments and is largely dependent on manager - Young leaders who are in the biggest roles of their careers and need more development; micromanagement - Still a young company and a lot of employee programs/teams just don’t exist yet but it’s getting better - Leaders and their teams work in silos and it can be hard to get work done sometimes - No 401k match
