No real/court-ordered deadlines in pre-lit.

Cons

Unrealistic settlement expectations for pre-lit associates; 99% of the supervising attorneys are ill-equipped to instruct or guide the associates assigned to them; and there are no meaningful opportunities to actually practice law, learn, or do substantive work. Also a toxic work environment (unless that has miraculously changed).
