It's almost eerie how the < 3-star reviews posted in Aug 2022 are so spot on! It seems like it's gotten worse since I left a few months ago. Turnovers were common (~35% before I left) but I distinctly remember when the Head of Quality--with years of experience as director and VP at other companies--resigned < 6 months of working there: major red flag. Abzena pays well but be prepared to take abuse, do tasks that weren't in your original job description, be thrown under the bus at meetings, poor communication b/w departments (that are supposed to work "cross-functionally"), disorganized and chaotic management... This place became unbearable to the point that I risked leaving the stability of a well-paying job even though I didn't have another job in hand when I resigned.

No HR present The accounting department was working overtime and long hours and it resulted in high stress and poor work life balance. The long hours caused tiredness and fatigue. This was apparent in how the accounting manager and staff accountant treated others.
