-Pay with opportunities to make more with clubs, sports, or tutoring. -Admin does what they can to support, but with such a huge number of students it can be difficult -Advancement opportunities

Cons

-Large class sizes without aids (34+) -In-depth lesson plans -Weekly PDs, sometimes irrelevant to some staff. Not a lot of teacher work time. -Frequently covering duties (recess) or sometimes lose specials with no coverage -Rarely ever "teacher work days", if we have them majority of the time is spent in PDs with very little work time in the classroom. -Lots of turn over

There are some truly amazing teachers and students there!

Cons

The administration doesn't support you. They will throw a new teacher into a difficult class, offer no help, then use them as a scapegoat when something goes wrong... Students walk around doing whatever they want without consequences and what they get away with is criminal!
