No structure
Worst environment for the poor, underpaid and overworked staff.
Typical “pizza party” employers.
No work/life balance, PTO cannot be accrued yet we were expected to be present all school year long.
Low pay and no clear job descriptions.
Constantly hired people that were not qualified to teach.
Paraprofessionals with no kind of teaching degree, would end up substituting classes for months at a time and parents were given the run around when they’d find out about the teacher quitting.
SPED department was a complete joke, setting up scholars with disabilities for failure. Zero support for them available on campus.
Administration lied to parents constantly, told them what they wanted to hear but would push the scholar out of the school and dress it up as “a transfer”.
HR department was not consistent.
So glad I got out of there, I wouldn’t recommend this employer to anyone.
