Pros

Acadian ambulance is employee owned; so you’re not just working for your next paycheck, but also for your future. The managers treat you like an individual with a life. They understand everyone is important in their role and allow space for development. Here your not just a number but a team member. We celebrate achievements and acknowledge those who stand out. There is some flexibility to accommodate your necessities in life.

Cons

As with managing large numbers of diverse populations, sometimes it’s tough to keep everyone doing their part to respect company property and keep the morale high. The effort is always being made to get things back on track. It’s always the employees who make a job enjoyable. So everyone should take responsibility for their own attitudes and habits. Have awareness of how you contribute or demonize the qualif the work environment you have. Be the change you want to see. Create the energy you want around you.

Pros

Always overtime available to those that can stomach it.

Cons

Management is horrible to staff. You arent treated as a human. They don't care about you in the slightest. You get some sick days every year as part of your benefits package and if you use them all you are suspended. They don't care about your mental health. They do nothing if one person answers 150 calls a day consistently and another employee answers 30 calls consistently which destroys morale. Nothing you do is good enough. You will.never be recognized for good work. They only promote their friends and yes men.
